Inner Awakening Journey — Master Classes

This full-day workshop is designed as a progressive inner journey, guiding participants from activation into integration through embodied practice.

The day begins with Prana Kriya Yoga–based practices that unite breath, movement, and inner attention. Through specific kriyas, conscious breathing, and subtle alignment, prana is awakened and guided through both the physical and subtle bodies. This session establishes clarity, steadiness, and energetic receptivity, supporting the inward turning of awareness and preparing the system for deeper self-perception.

The journey then moves into Power of Relaxation, approached as a precise and intentional practice rather than passive rest. Using specific kriyas, gentle movement, pranic techniques, and breath awareness, the nervous system is regulated and deeply held tension is released. As the body settles, prana reorganises naturally, allowing integration, grounding, and inner stillness to emerge.

Together, these Master Classes create a complete arc—from activation to assimilation—supporting the Inner Awakening Journey through direct experience, embodied awareness, and conscious rest.

Inner Awakening Practice

Prana and Inner Attention

Prana Kriya Yoga

This session introduces Prana Kriya Yoga as a subtle practice within the Inner Awakening Journey.

Simple kriyas, breath awareness, sound, and attentive presence are used to observe how prana moves and settles in the body. The emphasis is on steadiness and listening, allowing attention to turn inward without effort.

This integration of technical refinement with deep awareness elevates the practice from physical execution to inner awakening and embodied understanding.

The practice is accessible to all levels and is offered as a means of becoming familiar with the relationship between breath, movement, and inner awareness.

Time is included for reflection and questions.

Expected outcomes:

  • Greater sensitivity to breath and inner attention
  • A sense of steadiness and calm
  • Clearer awareness of energy and movement
  • A grounded entry into kriya practice

2PM – 4:30pm

Power of Relaxation

IThis session offers the Power of Relaxation as a support for the Inner Awakening Journey.

Through specific kriyas, guided relaxation, breath awareness, and quiet attention, participants are invited to allow the body and mind to settle. The emphasis is on ease and receptivity, rather than effort or control.

Relaxation is approached as a state of balance, where unnecessary tension softens and awareness can rest. The practice supports grounding and stability, creating conditions for clarity and inner stillness to arise naturally.

The session is accessible to all levels and is held as a time for rest, reflection, and integration.

Expected outcomes:

  • A settled nervous system
  • Reduced physical and mental tension
  • Greater ease in breath and posture
  • A sense of inner quiet and presence

Yogi Ashokananda, a revered Yoga Master and pillar of London’s vibrant yoga community, is excited to continue the 2026 Inner Awakening Journey in London with the second of four sessions this year, focused on the transformative practices of Prana Kriya Yoga.

This immersive experience offers students and teachers alike the opportunity to deepen their practice, cultivate authenticity, and unlock powerful tools for personal and spiritual growth.

Designed for those seeking to refine their skills, navigate change, or deepen their connection with themselves, these sessions provide a comprehensive approach to yoga and meditation. Yogi’s teachings integrate the physical, emotional, mental, and psychological aspects essential for meaningful transformation. As he often says, “without engaging the vehicle, you cannot make any journey.”

Through these practices, you will clear the mind, refine awareness, and reconnect with your true self. By cultivating resilience, inner strength, and a deeper sense of purpose, these sessions offer valuable guidance on your path to greater self-discovery and growth.

Participants are welcome to engage in the full day of practice or choose from one of the two sessions, before or after the lunch break.
